Who We Are:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The\u00a0APSA\u00a0COMMITTEE ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN IN THE PROFESSION<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0monitors the status of women in the profession at all levels, including faculty members and graduate students. It reports to the membership periodically\u00a0on its findings, works to advance research on women as well as on issues of particular concern to women, and works closely with other groups like the\u00a0women’s caucus for political science\u00a0to\u00a0share information and ideas and to\u00a0ensure fair and equal treatment of women\u00a0throughout the profession.<\/p>\n
