Through a series of workshops, departmental collaborations, research grants, and other opportunities,&nbsp;the program extends&nbsp;APSA\u2019s engagement with the international political science community and strengthens research networks linking American scholars with colleagues overseas. The goal of APSA&#8217;s MENA Workshops is to enhance the capacities and resources of political scientists&nbsp;in the Arab MENA region, while also providing a forum for supporting their ongoing funded by Carnegie Corporation of New York through 2025, APSA\u2019s MENA Workshops are an annual fellowship opportunity for PhD students and early-career political science faculty from the Arab MENA region. <\/strong>Working with regional host universities and other partners, APSA organizes a program of week-long workshops that bring together approximately 20 scholars&nbsp;for training in basic research skills and to foster regional and international collaboration. Each workshop&nbsp;is dedicated to a substantive issue in political science, with a unique program of lectures, discussions, topical presentations and debates, guest speakers, peer review sessions, professional development seminars, and local field trips.
