The Africa Workshops Alumni e-Newsletter is a biannual publication co-edited by two alumni fellows. The newsletter publishes short pieces that provide scholarly insights into a changing Africa, addressing the variety of methodological, theoretical, empirical, and ethical concerns reflected in the study of African political science. More importantly, it aims to build a community that connects junior researchers, highlight contemporary scholarly debates, and share some of the exciting research and educational opportunities on the continent. Submissions of approximately 1,000 words, personal/professional announcements for the “Alumni News and Publications” section, and suggestions for future issues of the newsletter can be e-mailed to the co-editors at africanewsletter@apsanet.org.

Co-editors for 2015-2017 were George Bob-Milliar (Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology; Ghana) and Jeffrey Paller (University of San Francisco; USA). From 2013-2015, the newsletter was co-edited by Sethunya Mosime (University of Botswana) and Dorothy Mpabanga (University of Botswana).

The Africa Workshops Alumni e-Newsletter is an open publication. Past issues are available here:
